The driver of the vehicle also died.  He has been identified as a 27 year old male, but his name has not yet been released.  The accident happened at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015.

According to the Boston Police Department, the car was travelling on Commercial Street, when it approached a sharp curve at the intersection of Charter Street, and then slammed into a parked car.  The collision caused the vehicle to overturn, ejecting all three men.

Darcey and the driver were pronounced dead at the scene.  James survived and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.  He was subsequently released.  The accident remains under investigation by the Boston Police, but speed is believed to have been a factor.
