Dedham Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident

September 24, 2014 – Anne McIntyre, 70, of Dedham, Massachusetts, has died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle.  The accident occurred Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. on High Street in Dedham.

According to the Dedham Police Department, a 25 year old Boston man, whose identity has not been released, was driving on High Street when his car hit McIntyre.  She was transported to Norwood Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.  The man was also taken to the hospital for emotional distress.

No charges have been filed and the matter remains under investigation by the Dedham Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
