Methuen, Massachusetts: Lowell Woman Dies in Tragic Car Accident

September 3, 2014 – Kerri-Ann Roberto, 33, of Lowell, Massachusetts, has died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained as a passenger in a single car accident.  The driver, Frank Orocho, 39, also of Lowell, was injured in the crash.  The accident happened at approximately 7:50 a.m. on North Lowell Street in Methuen.

According to the Methuen Police Department, Orocho was driving eastbound on North Lowell Street when he crossed into the westbound lane, drove onto the sidewalk, and crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of North Lowell and Moody Streets.  Roberto and Orocho were transported to Lawrence General Hospital, where Roberto was pronounced dead.  Orocho was later airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, due to the severity of his injuries.

No charges have been filed and the matter remains under investigation by the Methuen Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
