June 9, 2014 – Frederick Hoard III, 24, of South Attleboro, Massachusetts, has died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. The accident occurred last Monday, June 2, 2014, at approximately 9:55 P.M. between exits 1 and 2 on Route 195 in Seekonk.
According to police, Hoard’s motorcycle was traveling eastbound, when it struck the back of a car, causing him to exit the roadway, and travel into the woods abutting the highway. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car, a 58 year old man, and his passenger, a 50 year old woman, both from Swansea, were not injured in the accident.
The Massachusetts State Police have not yet determined the cause of the collision, and the accident remains under investigation.
