Wilbraham, Massachusetts: Two Dead, One Injured in Fatal Crash

June 30, 2014 – Nolan Toski, 23, and Nathan Raffol, 19, both of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, have died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained in an auto accident.  Adam Surrette, 24, of Springfield, was seriously injured in the crash.  The accident occurred on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monson Road in Wilbraham.

According to the Wilbraham Police Department, the men were traveling westbound on Monson Road, when their vehicle struck a guardrail and a utility pole, which caused the car to overturn. All three men were ejected from the vehicle, before it came to a rest approximately 600 feet from the initial impact.

Toski was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and Raffol and Surrette were transported to Baystate Medical Center, where Raffol succumbed to his injuries.  Surrette remains at the hospital in critical condition.

Speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the accident, but the crash remains under investigation by the Wilbraham Police Department and the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office.
